Get involved in politics! Yes, I know it's not something that the majority of Americans are interested in, but the results have an impact on all of us. Whether you have a conservative, independent, or liberal perspective, this is your country. In the early days of the American Revolution, only about 36 per cent of the colonists were interested in politics. The results of those 36 per cent being committed to their ideals have had a lasting impact on the world, and affect us even today. This November, have your say in our future. Get out there and check into why you believe what you believe, investigate the rhetoric, search out the truth, and vote for your choice, not only in national politics, but also on the state and local levels. The effects of the election follow us through our every day life and can be demonstrated on each paystub. It's your money, freedom, and livelihood.
